Sunday Lunch at the Walled Garden Kitchen - 9 Aug

£50.00

Walled Garden, Murthly Castle Estate
Sunday the 9th August
Arrival from 1pm
Lunch served 1.30–2pm

Join us for a relaxed Sunday lunch in our new Garden Kitchen, nestled within the Walled Garden at Murthly Castle Estate.

Our menus will follow the seasons, showcasing whatever is looking its very best in the garden and on the farm that week.

Alastair from The Farming Kitchen is a local farmer and cook who works on a hill farm just a few miles from the Walled Garden. He brings together his passion for farming and cooking, serving food with a genuine connection to the land it comes from. The grass-fed meat and heritage grains featured on the menu is reared and grown by Alastair himself, making this a rare opportunity to enjoy produce that has been both reared and cooked by the same person.

Alongside the meat, you'll enjoy produce freshly harvested from the Walled Garden by Don and our growing team. Together, the farm and garden provide the ingredients for a lunch that celebrates the best of what is being grown and reared locally.

Guests are welcome to explore the garden before lunch and meet the people behind the food. There will be opportunities to hear about what's being grown in the garden and reared on the farm, as well as chat about some of the opportunities and challenges shaping farming and food production today.

Gather around the table, enjoy good food and great company, and spend a leisurely afternoon in one of the estate's most beautiful settings.

Your lunch prepared by Alastair and the Taybank team includes:

  • A welcome nibble & non-alcoholic drink

  • Starter

  • Main course

  • Dessert

BYOB Welcome
