Championing local, seasonal food & drinks

At The Taybank we serve an ever-changing menu of inventive dishes that follow the Scottish seasons. We use quality ingredients grown in our very own gardens along with local meat and produce that’s responsibly sourced from carefully selected Scottish suppliers. In our upstairs restaurant, you can expect a variety of starters, small and large plates, desserts and an extensive drinks menu. Our restaurant, bar and gardens are all dog-friendly.

“the restaurant has a modern art deco bar, bold art and a quietly sophisticated seasonal menu featuring local venison and beef from Potter’s uncle’s farm”

The Times

Outside in our garden things are more casual, but with no compromise on taste. Our Garden Kitchen makes hand-stretched pizzas, sharing platters, fresh garden salads, and much more. This is food to be enjoyed with a pint in the sun or by the fire pit. We also have our own horsebox coffee & ice cream bar which serves our very own roast coffee from the Bean Shop, a selection of loose-leaf teas and Luvian’s ice cream.

In 2022 we took on the walled garden within the grounds of Murthly Estate which once fed the Lords and Ladies who frequented the castle. We’re in our second year of growing now and both our restaurant and garden kitchens now receive a steady supply of fresh chemical-free produce.
