How to reach us

Train
The Taybank is reached via a beautiful ten-minute walk either along the River Tay or through the streets of historic Birnam from Dunkeld and Birnam train station. There are regular services running to and from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness and even London (we particularly recommend travelling from here on the Caledonian Sleeper Train!) Car
If you’re driving, we are just off the A9. We have a small car park (6 spaces) opposite the hotel which is reserved for guests staying in our rooms and apartments. If you are coming for lunch or dinner we recommend parking in the much larger Tay Terrace car park which is right next to ours. You can park all day for £4.80 and there is no charge after 6pm or on Sundays. More pricing here.

Bike
We’re connected to local cycle paths including the National Route 77 and have secure bike stands in our beer garden. Read more about local mountain bike trails and road cycling in our local guide.

Bus
You can also travel to The Taybank by bus. Several local and Citylink bus services pass through Dunkeld every day. You can check times and services on Google Maps.
