FAQs

Do screenings go ahead if it’s forecast to rain?

We have plenty of covered stretch tents in our gardens, so the screening will go ahead even if there is a bit of rain. In cases of extreme weather, we may need to cancel the screening at short notice, in which case you will be notified and offered a ticket for an alternative screening.

I can’t make it anymore, can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds on cinema tickets.

Do I need to bring my own chair?

No need, we have plenty of comfy deck chairs available for ticket holders. If you want to get extra cosy, feel free to bring your own blanket or cushion!

What if the sun is shining, will I see the screen?

Yes! Our 13ft LED screen is specifically designed for outdoor screenings and offers a much better display than projection screenings you might see elsewhere.

Why do I need to wear headphones?

We now provide audio through quality Bluetooth headphones for all screenings. This is to minimise any noise for our neighbours.

Do you serve food and drinks during screenings?

Yes! You can order pizzas, burgers, sides and other dishes prepared by our Garden Kitchen from the bar. Here you can also pick up drinks, teas, coffees, ice-cream and pop-corn. Before you come to the bar, please pick a deck chair and make note of your number so we know where to bring your order.

Are dogs allowed at your outdoor cinema screenings?

Yes, we love dogs at The Taybank! Please just ensure they remain on a lead close to you and don’t distrupt other guests.

Can I bring my children to the screening?

We welcome families to many screenings, but it's important to note that film ratings vary. While many of our screenings are family-friendly, some may have content not suitable for younger audiences. We recommend checking the film's rating beforehand to ensure it is suitable for your child. Additionally, we may offer special screenings specifically catered to children, providing a safe and enjoyable experience.

I have feedback on my cinema experience, who should I speak to?

If you have any feedback during a screening, please approach a member of the Taybank Team in the gardens who will be happy to help. Further feedback can be emailed to info@thetaybank.co.uk
