Monday Makers: In Conversation with Penny Kennedy

£5.00

Monday the 2nd of March, 6–8pm
The Taybank Dining Room

Join us for a special Monday Makers evening with Penny Kennedy — designer, gardener and all-round creative force based at Mouse Cottage in Strathtay.

Originally trained as a cook, Penny’s path has unfolded into a richly layered creative life. In 2024 she launched Kennedy Harrison, a creative studio producing beautifully considered scarves in partnership with Glasgow School of Art alongside a growing jewellery collection.

Her home and garden at Mouse Cottage made the final of Scotland’s Home of the Year in 2020, and she appeared on Beechgrove Garden in 2024 after opening her garden through Scotland’s Open Garden Scheme. Penny was also an Ambassador for the V&A Dundee’s recent Garden Futures exhibition.

Penny will be interviewed by her close friend and business partner Rachel Rowley, sharing stories from her life, her work, and the passions that weave it all together. Expect an evening of thoughtful reflection, creative curiosity, and generous conversation — an intimate, inspiring night for lovers of design, gardens, creativity and good stories.

Event tickets cost £5, with seasonal drinks available to purchase from the downstairs bar.
