Monday Makers: Fiona Grant, Founder of Glen Lyon Coffee

£5.00

Monday the 16th of February, 6–8pm
The Taybank Dining Room

Join us for an evening of coffee, conversation, and craft with Fiona Grant, founder of Glen Lyon Coffee Roasters, as part of Monday Makers at the The Taybank.

Formerly a journalist and travel writer based in South America, Fiona returned to Scotland with her family in 2011 and founded Glen Lyon Coffee with a deep respect for place, people, and provenance. Now a qualified Q grader, licensed to score and grade arabica coffee, she regularly travels to Latin America and Africa, sourcing exceptional green coffee and building long-term, direct trade relationships with producers.

Fiona will be joined by Rachel Rowely for a relaxed talk where she’ll share stories from the road, insights into ethical sourcing and quality grading, and what it really takes to roast coffee with integrity, from farm to cup.

Event tickets cost £5, with Glen Lyon coffees and seasonal drinks available to purchase from the downstairs bar.
