We are looking for passionate chefs, cooks and kitchen assistants to join our kitchen team at The Taybank in beautiful Dunkeld.

We have part-time and full-time positions available and are open to all levels of experience for the right individuals. We also have summer placements available.

We have a wide food offering – from a fine dining restaurant serving an ever-changing seasonal menu, casual pub lunches, overnight breakfast hampers, catering for our own in-house events and in the warmer months a garden kitchen serving hand-stretched pizzas, salads and sharing dishes.

Our menus champion the local produce we are so lucky to be surrounded by in Perthshire, not only working with the seasons but changing the menus daily. 

Working closely with our growers at our 5-acre walled garden in Murthly Castle Estate, you can learn more about the Scottish growing season and how to utilise the bountiful produce. With game coming from estates within 5 miles, learn to break down whole beasts and game using a nose-to-tail approach. We love to make fresh pasta, breads, charcuterie and pastry as well as source from local artisanal producers. We are constantly working on new ideas and ways to be more self-sufficient, sustainable and ethical in the way we produce, process and present our food offering.

We are committed to providing a culture of collaboration and learning. Even if you don’t have any formal training or you are at the start of your career but you are passionate about fantastic food and produce and can work well in a small, friendly team, we would like to hear from you.
