Nigel and Beverly Large took over The Taybank from Dougie McLean in 2003 and have taken it from strength to strength. Over the years, we have broadened our horizons and now host a wide range of styles of music from traditional to rock to jazz to soul to blues and anything else. We have also become a great venue for live bands, as well as sessions - impromptu and otherwise!!!

You are guaranteed a warm welcome and a fabulous pint in the bar from our longstanding Managers - Eddie Jordan who has been part of The Taybank as long as the building (nearly!) and Susie & Jim McCrystal who have been here for the past seven years.

Our Chef, Susan MacRae, brings you a fantastic range of reasonably priced, traditional home cooked food. As well as our famous stovies, our pizzas and handmade burgers are talked of all over!
